Activision showcases innovative slate at E3 2011
L.A. Noire - the future of gaming set in the past
Some of you might remember that at the beginning of the year I predicted that L.A. Noire could well become game of 2011, and some people also claim I'm Rockstar Games biased as I have consistently given GTA, Red Dead & Beaterator full marks. Well if they didn't keep making the best games on the market then my rating of them might change, but that time is most certainly not now as I have finally got my hands on L.A. Noire and it is perfect. Again I reiterate, “Front Runner for Game Of The Year 2011”. You can quote me on that.
Brink or you'll miss it
Bethesda Softworks are taking no prisoners this year and have a lot of Major titles and DLC coming your way in 2011 starting with 'Brink'.
This is a game I first got to have a play with last year at a few of the Game expo's we attended and it was looking rather special back then. As you may remember my only concern was it may be just a little complicated for your average gamer and the recent succesion of instruction videos for Brink over the month before release says that my fears were not unfounded.

Setting the World On Fire
In July 2010 The Prodigy went to Milton Keynes and put on one hell of a show: The Warriors Dance Festival. It was their biggest live show to date and having been playing to these sorts of crowds for as long as they have, Liam, Keef & Maxim are masters of their craft.
"He Arrives Just in Time..."
Activision Publishing, Inc. and Marvel Entertainment and LLC today announced Spider-Man™: Edge of Time, where Spider Man faces one of his greatest challenges ever — saving Spider Man. Developed by Activision owned studio Beenox, Spider Man: Edge of Time challenges the player to take on the roles of both classic Amazing Spider Man and Spider Man 2099 to correct a timestream gone awry and prevent a catastrophic future brought on by the early and untimely death of Peter Parker.
A nice family dinner...
The trend for modernising classic horror staples has seen a rise. Gone are the horrific ghouls replaced with brooding and misunderstood vampires, fast moving clever zombies (even gaining the ability to talk and strip in Zombie Strippers), and with pending release of Red Riding Hood, a stylised and sexy collision of classic fairytale and the infamous werewolf (by Twilight’s own Catherine Hardwicke) it was only a matter of time until the cannibal genre got revitalised.
A Comedy with Depth
Submarine focuses on the exploits of Oliver Tate, a love struck schoolboy who tries to impress the object of his affection, Jordana, by bullying an overweight girl that everybody targets. With Jordana won over, the two begin their relationship. However, it soon turns sour due to their parent’s own baggage, Oliver’s parents are on the brink of separation and Jordana’s mother is on the brink of death.
Malice in Wonderland
Directed by '300' helmer Zack Snyder, Sucker Punch is surreal modern-day art. It could be mistaken for a graphic novel, comic book movie or even a video game - arguably the art forms of our time.
