2012 will witness the return of Xstatic and Deprivation, Vicious Circle and Fireball Recordings, plus some new exciting additions, namely Escape gets Filthy and Bounceology, plus the return of hard dance pioneers, Tidy.
So the basic idea is: take four or five venues exclusively por la noche (for the nighttime), and add in some interesting daytime stuff (which will include the legendary boat ride plus an optional daytime session on a second boat at the start of the week). There are lots of sports activities for those that are feeling energetic, but realistically daytimes are for relaxing around the pool and beach and recharging before the hard house nutters go on the prowl. As in 2011, there will be two bootcamp cycles this year: the main frame seven-night flick (6th – 13th June 2012), but if you can handle it there is an extended version which runs 10 days until the 16th, which gives you three nights more accommodation and three nights more full-on fun, more DJ’s and more of the usual… It’s a FKN marathon!
Who’s playing? Loads… Tidy Boys, Anne Savage, Amber D, Andy Farley, JP & Jukesy, Cally Gage, Ben Stevens, Rodi Style, Lucy Fur, Ash Preston – there will be 20 odd DJ’s in tow this year plus a selection of local talent.
There’s also a break from the norm, as the 2012 Ibiza Bootcamp hosts an ‘alternate’ night this year, featuring Dumb Blonde, Bombshell Betti, Amber D’Amour and the legendary RatPack who all bring a very different vibe.
