Secretsundaze Halloween Asylum Party

Written by

Secretsundaze take over Factory 7 in Shoreditch on Saturday 27th October for a Halloween Asylum Party, with the spooky sounds of guest DJs Shed, San Proper, BLM and residents Giles Smith & James Priestley. The dress code is Halloween Asylum and if last year is anything to go by there's going to be some disturbing outfits on show. We spoke to Clare at Global Publicity - here's what she had to say...

We are happy to bring you details of our full line up and venue for our second Halloween Asylum Party. Last years killer party at Village Underground with Skudge, Fred P and October was definitely a memorable one and so we have decided to continue the Asylum theme this time at a venue never been used for a secretsundaze party. Factory 7 just off Curtain Road in the heart of Shoreditch is a fantastic warehouse space that we jumped on the minute we knew it was available.

Headlining is none other than Shed aka Head High / WK7 / EQD / Wax, without doubt one of the biggest names in Techno with his releases literally flying of the shelves of record stores across the globe with their big impact, hard hitting sound. He has also just released his new Shed  LP "The Killer" to much acclaim. His live performances as both a DJ and/or live act are hugely in demand yet he is not so keen on touring regularly so do not miss this opportunity to see him in such a perfect setting.

Second up we are very excited to have the quirky, out there and crazy genius that is San Proper - Live. "Dr Proper" as he referred to himself last Saturday during his live set at The Zoo Project in Ibiza had the crowd in the palm of his hands strutting around, singing, playing the guitar and with those low slung, funk fuelled grooves that have attracted the likes of Villalobos to team up with with him it made total sense to get to him to play for us on live on this occasion. His LP "Animal" on the forever quality Rush Hour imprint has received much praise and his live set has become hugely in demand.

Finally for our 3rd and final guest is up we are very happy to welcome a new secret Agency artist into the secretsundaze fold: BLM, a London born and bred artist, who although has his roots in house and techno also takes influence from more home grown UK sounds. He co owns and runs the deep house label Fear of Flying and the more technoey offshoot Sudden Drop and has released himself on the likes of Jus Ed's Underground Quality.

Also playing:

Giles Smith (Two Armadillos, secretsundaze)
James Priestley (secretsundaze, Simple)
