Set in a ‘wild’ villa in the city they run a series of key after parties for the event which start on Thursday and run concurrently after everything finishing at the main festival, meaning you can visit Sonar and Wild Villa or utilise it alongside whatever other clubbing options you plump for. There’s even a three way collaborative option which reigns together the Wild Live experience alongside two other huge promoters, Eastender and Fact, on the Thursday and Friday for a Marathon 24 hours of partying.
Their Friday morning afterparty is sandwiched in-between the monster Thursday event for Eastender, taking place in one of Barcleona’s town parks, and then the Fact pool party which takes in the afternoon and early evening of Friday. Coach transport will ferry you between each leg of what is surely an event only the hardcore need apply for.
Tickets are here http://www.residentadvisor.net/event.aspx?376486 and the line-up across all three events includes the following; Loco Dice & Marco Carola, The Martinez Brothers, tINI, Guti, D'Julz, Chris Liebing, Marcel Dettmann, and Terrence Fixmer live. The whole thing reigns in at less than 80 euros. Hit this video for a senak preview of the city as a whole and what to expect from the marathon: http://vimeo.com/43286539
On top of that there is a Crosstown Rebels party on the Thursday, a secret sunrise party form 6am Saturday morning and then the final closer party on the Sunday which goes right through from 6am to 7pm. Barca isn’t light on options for your party pound over the next week but this certainly looks like one of the more endearing options. Full venue address is as follows: Avinguda Països Catalans, 58 08950 Esplugues de Llobregat, Spain (15 minutes by car from centre of Barcelona), with full detauils on their Facebook page: www.facebook.com/Wildlivebcn

Wild Villa’s Off Sonar Insanity
Written by Jimmy CoultasSonar’s decade plus of activity has ensured that once a year Barcelona’s club activity for a week exceeds even its relative neighbour Ibiza in terms of quality and quantity. The festival itself brings thousands of partygoers, industry folk and curious electronic music exponents for a conference which sits midway between huge festival, intimate rave or sage industry master class, depending on what part of it you visit. But the fringe frivolities ensure that there is huge club activity in the myriad of nightclubs, beaches and festival parks on offer as well. One of the better options sn Wild Villa.
