Hard Dance Reviews - March 2012

Written by  Amber D

What better to see you into the Easter holiday's than our favourite hard dance minx, Amber D, and her list of favourite hard dance tunes this month.

Albums:

Fireball Recordings presents 'Fire Drill'

This massive compilation has been the culmination of three months work from hard house hero's Andy Farley, Ben Stevens and Adam M. The Fire Drill album takes you on a journey through a night of hard house anthems just as if you are there on the dancefloor! If you like your hard house hard and filthy (and let's face it, who doesn't?!), you are going to LOVE this album.

Kiddception - Alex Kidd

Championed by the likes of David Guetta and Swedish House Mafia, Alex Kidd has done it again in shape of this very forward-thinking hard techno album, Kiddception. Love it. Get this in your life.

Tracks:

Amber D & Ben Stevens - H20 (D’Licious)

After a long overdue second visit to the studio with Ben, this was the outcome. Already championed by the likes of Adam M and JoJo, this track has the potential to be one of the tracks of the summer in the hard house world!

Olly Lennox - Rollmop (Rawpower)

Olly brings us a proper hard house stomper in the shape of Rollmop! Does exactly what it says on the tin. With a very cool cheeky little scratch break! I’m all over this one.

Paranoia - SoNiK & Riggsy

You’ve never heard a guitar solo like this one in this track! Nails and rock all in one big bag of fun! Get this track!

Charlie Bosh - Sharp Shot

Love this track! Tonnes of energy and not forgetting the hoovers. But it just doesn’t sound dated in any way. A bang up to date hard house track. One for the hard box.

Striptease - Nuclear Hornet (C’est La Vie Recordings)

Steve NRG brings us this, the first track on his brand new label, C’est La Vie. It does sound very familiar to a certain remix of Louise's Naked, BUT I’m not taking anything away from this track. It’s certain to be doing damage on dancefloors all over the UK and beyond!

Digital Mafia - Be Sincere

Loving the old skool garage feel on this track. Going to be playing this on my warm up sets for some time to come!

Amber D & Paul F - Never Forever

Back in the studio with Paul F meant just one thing... a hard dance stomperthon! This is forthcoming on D’Licious Recordings for the summer, so get ready to rock!
