Almost four years after the release of ‘Free Cloud’, an album that clearly demonstrated his unique trademark sound, captivated the audiences imagination, and created sore feet for thousands of revellers attending Festivals, Open Air and Club parties all over the globe, Perfect Stranger is back with his brand new artist album ‘Leap of Faith’.
Released by Iboga Records – this is a 3CD sonic adventure like only this man can deliver.
CD1 features all new original music from the man himself whilst CD2 features a selection of live versions, remixes and collaborations that have never been released before. Finally CD3 is a special live recording from his performance at Israel’s Indigo Festival this summer.
Whilst ‘Free Cloud’ was a very minimal, personal and airy creation, ‘Leap of Faith’s first CD sees Perfect Stranger deliver a hypnotic, pounding, yet versatile experience including three collaborations with Eat Static, Liquid Soul and LOUD. The second CD offers some exquisite live edits and tasty remixes of known Perfectly Strange tunes, and remixes to other artists including LOUD, Liquid Soul, Tristan and Felguk. “The icing on the cake” of the second CD are two unreleased gems: a collaboration with Sun Control Species and a remix of Roy RosenfelD’s ‘My Bubble’.
‘Leap of Faith’ is a carefully created musical story of refined dancefloor material by one of the most accomplished producers in the scene. Every sound has a meaning, a blend that defies definitions and is beyond genres.
