The Lovebox Festival in London is celebrating a decade of music – or, as the adverts say, “A Decade of Love” – with its biggest line up ever planned for this years event on Clapham Common in June.

Exit recently announced plans to team up with Bestival to take part in the Association of Independent festivals (AIF) Twin Festivals initiative (try saying that when you’re drunk!) for the first time in 2012.

Just what is a boutique festival? If you like your festivals raw, unadulterated, free from commercial drivel and merchandise floggers, then look no further. These independent, bohemian, untainted festivals might be right up your campsite. 

Core Magazine brings you news of another 2012 festival which you need to make plans for soon. A strictly limited amount of tickets to next year’s Kendall Calling are going to be made available as an early Christmas present from the very very nice people at the Lake District festival.
